Informed Consent for Jungian Life Coaching and Symbolic Consultation Services
At our platform, we are committed to offering a safe, ethical, and grounded space for inner work. Before beginning any services—including Jungian Life Coaching, Tarot Consultations, or other symbolic offerings—we ask that you carefully read and agree to the terms below. This document outlines our process, your rights, the scope of our work, and our mutual responsibilities.
Informed consent is essential for transparency, trust, and your self-determination. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Nature of Services
Our work is not psychotherapy or clinical mental health care. We do not diagnose or treat psychological disorders. Rather, we offer coaching and symbolic services rooted in Jungian theory, aimed at self-inquiry, inner exploration, and psycho-spiritual development.
Benefits may include:
- Increased self-awareness
- Inner clarity and purpose
- Insight into unconscious patterns
- Emotional integration and individuation
However, inner work may also stir difficult memories, emotions, or shadow content. While we hold a supportive and ethical space, you are responsible for your wellbeing and participation. If significant distress arises, we may suggest you seek psychotherapy and will refer you accordingly.
Scope and Limitations
- These services are not a substitute for psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatric support, or medical care.
- We do not provide emergency or crisis services.
- We may recommend pausing or terminating services if we believe your needs are better suited for therapeutic or psychiatric care. This is part of our commitment to do no harm.
Confidentiality
Your sessions are confidential. We will not share any of your information without your written consent, except in the following cases:
- If you disclose risk of harm to self or others
- If you disclose abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person
- If compelled by law (e.g., subpoena or court order)
- For supervision or professional consultation (in anonymous form only)
All digital records and client data are stored securely in accordance with privacy laws.
Electronic Communication and Online Services
We offer services via secure video conferencing platforms. Please be aware:
- We use encrypted, secure platforms, but no system is 100% risk-free.
- You are responsible for choosing a private space for sessions.
- Email is used only for scheduling and administrative communication—not for clinical matters.
- Texts are limited to appointment reminders or logistical details.
- We do not engage with clients through social media or messaging apps.
Emergencies and Crisis Policy
We do not provide crisis services. If you are in distress or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a local crisis line, your physician, or go to the nearest emergency room. If we identify signs of acute psychological risk, we will refer you to appropriate services.
Fees, Scheduling, and Cancellation
- Sessions are 50–60 minutes.
- Fees are discussed in your initial consult and may vary by service.
- Payment is due at the time of service via secure methods (credit, debit, PayPal, or e-transfer).
- Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless due to emergency or illness.
- We do not bill insurance.
